I live in Plainsboro (Near Princeton), NJ. I am moving out of country and I need to throw furniture (sofa, dinning table, 2 beds, mattress, tables, books, kitchen items, clothing, threadmill) - I am not sure what is the best way to dump all these stuff ? I am really having a hard time finding a cheap solution - I did below
2. Called Salvation Army - They said they can pickup stuff but next available date is 45 days from now but I can't wait that long
3. I can't rent a Dumster in front of my home as I live in a Townhouse and property manager doesn't allow Dumster in the parking lot
4. Called a 1-800-Got-Junk - They told me it could cost me $3k to dump the stuff (this is very expensive) my stuff doesn't even cost that much if I buy new onces.
Do you have any suggestions on how to handle this ? Please throw some light

Do an "Open House" garage sale and put price tags on the things you want to sell but be willing to negotiate and put free signs on the things you want to give away.
Otherwise rent a truck and put everything in it you want to donate and take it to Goodwill or Salvation Army yourself, they will help you unload it.
Then take the truck to the dump and unload the rest.

The solution that works best for me is to hire movers and take it to a place where all stuff can be dumped but unfortunately I couldn't find a place where you can simply dump all the stuff - Can movers (commercial trucks) are allowed at Salvation Army drop off locations or Do I need to drive a Uhaul to get there ? If Salvation Army doesn't accept some stuff (example ThreadMill), is there a dumster at this place to dump all unaccepted items?
