I don't blame you. I wouldn't want to live across the street from a school, either. But don't dismiss Clinton. It's a great school and a tight neighborhood.

Around the school opening and closing each day, you will get a lot of traffic. Also you will have a ton of cars in the evening for a number of reasons like concerts or back-to-school-night. In addition, if the school has fields, you will also have to face several soccer games/practices at night and on weekend. For rest things, you can consider the people living in the same locality, their experience can give you better idea.
