Along the very scenic Delaware River also. Look up places like Devils Tea Table and Ringing Rocks.

We go upstate a little bit to towns like Warwick, NY. (apple picking, wine tasting) you'll need a car however. If you're going from NYC there are some cute towns you can get to via train.. Hastings on the Hudson, Croton on the Hudson. NJ has beautiful areas.. go to VERNON (which is near Warwick, NY) as there are some fun farm stands to go to, a huge one called Haven Hill Farm which is wonderful (need a car). Have fun
