I'm moving to Randolph from Staten Island. Will I need to get a snow blower? If so 2 or 3 stage? I survived for years with a shovel and hard work but the driveway I have now is about 8-10 times bigger than my Staten Island driveway.

Thanks

Yes.....

Stage 2 should be good.

Go Gas, Not electric...

Electric just don't have the power to do heavy wet snow's,

Do the driveway when it get to about 1/2 the "Depth" of your blower.

12" Depth blower, do the driveway when it get to 6", and again on the next 6" ...

Yes you should get a snowblower. Even if you are physically able to shovel, having the snow blower will save you a lot of time. It's one of the best investments I have made.

You are farther west and we get a lot more snow than NYC. I shovel anytime snowfall is less than 6 inches, just for the sake of physical activity. But the snowblower gets plenty of workouts every winter, as 1ft of snow is not uncommon here.

So if this guy gets a snowblower, that's ANOTHER reason we won't get any big snow this season
