We are a family of 3 (2 adults and a child). We are looking at relocating to US from Singapore sometime during April 2016. We would like to be based in New jersey. Our criteria are like most other people, a very good school district and reasonable rents. In addition we also need a school district that has Special Education services in a Public, elementary school
My questions are
1) Are there any elementary public schools in NJ that are particularly known for their Special Ed services?
2) Is $1500 monthly rent for 2bed one bath a decent budget? If yes, which towns would you recommend?
3) Is it advisable to decide on housing and school AFTER we come there? My company will provide accommodation for a month after we relocate. So is it ok to look around after we reach there?
Making a trip just to finalize house and school would be too expensive.
Any tips would be very helpful
PS - Distance from Newark airport is also a consideration, but not priority.
