Hello Everyone, I'm really needing guidance and/ suggestions as to where I could potentially find an apartment within Elizabeth. That said I am 29 and Caucasian, also I currently reside in south jersey. I've heard that Elizabeth is great for commuters who work in NYC in which I plan to do. I've also heard that Elizabeth is one of New Jerseys roughest cities but upon doing research I've found some conflicting info..supposedly Northern Elizabeth is ok? I really would like for anyone to suggest apartments within good proximity to the train and most of all apartments in safe locations. Safe as in, I can walk out at night a few blocks and not be harmed. Apartment names or streets that I should consider would be so helpful. I really appreciate the feedback everyone thanks so much.

What's your budget like? I'd prefer linden over Elizabeth, and I have lived in both.

Hopefully looking to get a one bedroom for no more than 1,000 if possible..from what I've researched the imperial houses and Pineda apartments are actually pretty good but I def need a second opinion or two. What do you think?

I lived a block away from Pineda apartments about 20 years ago I am not sure how the area is now but it was borderline okay back then. I would still recommend linden if you can find something in your budget.
