For a school assignment I'm looking for a picture of a crane, just like this: http://img.amazon.ca/images/I/6118DH...500_AA300_.jpg

It has to be from the same angle and everything. I know it's a long shot, but I'm all the way in Holland and just looking to find someone who can take a picture like this for me! Would be eternally grateful.

Maybe someplace like photo.net, pbase.com, or flickr.com? What you're seeking is very specific. Somebody would need to stage the entire thing. I don't believe you will find somebody who would do it for free. But maybe somebody knows of another shot that's online somewhere and free to use by the general public.

Yeah, go to Flickr: Advanced Search (http://www.flickr.com/search/advanced - broken link) and click Creative Commons when you do the search. Those are the people who have given permission for their work to be used, as long as they are credited (credit them by writing "their flickr name" on flickr.com)

I don't think you'll find someone willing to go find a crane and take a picture of it for you unfortunately!

Cannot see the photo/link you pasted in the your query.

Are you referring to a crane as in a construction vehicle or a bird as in a great blue heron ?

It's a construction crane with actors on top of it from the movie Garden State.

Yes, I'm looking for a picture of a crane, like the one in the poster. I've already spent a lot of time looking on the internet, even on photowebsites where you have to pay to use photos.

There's always a chance there's someone here who has a crane like that next to their house

Why do you need this? What school project would require a pic basically identical to the one posted? I am sorry, but this whole thing smells fishy to me.

And do you think people are going to climb up on a crane in the middle of winter and snow to take a picture for you? I'm confused.

Here's the original image:

To the OP:

It is absolutely correct that you will pay for someone else's work to photograph something.
