Population shift. Cranford is getting more diverse as of late, I'm not gonna name which group or who's moving in but go to the town center area and shopping district and see for yourself. It's not that bad, really. Worry about your own kids SAT.
what is that supposed to mean? I just moved in, what kind of group would you say i'm in?
Putting SAT scores aside, many studies show that children growing up in diverse environments do much better later in life.

Can you cite one?
I only ask because it seems like a very difficult study to perform. "Much better later in life" is difficult to define. Also, there are more successful 70 year olds than there are 30 year olds, just based on the amount of time on the planet in order to achieve their success. Now, I'm only 48 years old, but I can still remember a time when all towns were much more monolithic than they are in now. When I was a kid, diversity was defined by how many different kinds of white people were in a town. So judging by those 2 completely unrelated facts, I would guess that studies would show the opposite of what you are claiming they show.

Exactly. If it were not for my diverse childhood neighborhood in Queens I would not be able to use chopsticks today and I would be calling gravy spaghetti sauce.
