What is Hawthorne like to live in? We have 2 small kids and my husband will commute in the evenings to NYC. How are the schools? Is it safe? Is it fun? What do you like and dislike about it?

hello, im a realtor in passaic and bergen counties. hawthorne is a great town, i have sold a few homes there myself. schools are great, people are friendly, low crime, close to many major highways, 208,80,20,46,4. your commute to nyc shouldnt be bad depending on the time of travel. great parks and dog parks if you have one. 10 minutes from the garden state plaza and paramus nj the store capitol of the world as some may call it. the closer to route 208 the nicer the homes.
He'll be taking the train, and needs to be in midtown by midnight.
He will take the MNBN line at 10:16 to seacause Junction Then the NorthEast corridor Line getting into NYC penn station 11:04 48 minutes ride by this train the next one is 60 minutes. He will late if he take the last train in.
