The day that liberals stop telling us that (in exchange for our votes) it is ok to not learn English; expect government hand outs, dismiss the local culture and impose ours, and that merit based achievements are racists is the day we will all thrive. I was raised by a single mother, but that did not stop me from becoming who I'm today. Between the indoctrination facilities (public schools), media, and a white guilt driving social policies, it will be very difficult to overcome these inequalities that liberals talk so much about all the time. In other words, it'll promote a collective mentality that will makes us dodge the bullet and not look at ourselves as individuals when we fail.

The funny thing about liberals is how they love to speak of this perfectly integrated utopia, yet they don't actually practice what they preach. If you look at some of the recently gentrified cities such as Hoboken and Jersey City, how many of those people are actually sending their kids to the public schools? They will support the "idea" of desegregation...but only up to the point where it actually involves their own children.

In the late 60s the feds came into Philadelphia & Camden County & tried to mandate bussing. They backed off Camden County when they found out that each town was a separate district. Bussing never happened in Philadelphia & the eventual solution there was magnet schools.

[quote=AnesthesiaMD;52973171]According to the article, they describe a lack of diversity as being greater than 90% white or 90% non-white.

Many of the top rated school systems have a sizable Asian population, so I wonder if they will be targeted as well. After all, they are less than 90% white.

Anyone in the United States can succeed if he works hard.

Whenever someone wants to argue that racism by caucasians keeps racial minorities down, one word destroys that argument - “Asians.” That’s when the person preaching identity politics as the end all/be all point of view suddenly goes mute.

Weird how a disproportionate number of these people "lacking character" are black. Amazing!

Until you look at the data that indicates that Asian-Americans aren't actually being offered leadership roles or even leadership tasks when compared to Caucasians. So they're working hard, just not being rewarded for it.

Despite what you might have heard, Asian American CEOs are the exception, not the norm

Some amazing facts are shown in this link where Don Lemon made some biting commentary. If you look at the statistics, you will see that a very powerful predictor of success or failure in life is the presence of a father in the home. If you ranked each group by poverty and crime, you see almost a direct positive correlation with the presence of a father, meaning a 2-parent home. Don Lemon is ordinarily horribly leftist. But this diatribe was right on the money.

Now will we learn from this and expect a higher level of conduct? Or will we blather and bleat that the only solution is more GUBMINT programs where we steal money from some people, give it to others to solve a problem, and instead see the money burned up with no good result? When will we realize that welfare destroys generations of people? That entitlement programs are basically genocide.

Asian-Americans make more money than Caucasians. Period. Sounds like they are being rewarded for their work.

Does that mean Asian-Americans are keeping caucasians down? Or is it possible there are other factors at play?
