I could have sworn we're able to get a ticket online for the MVC to check-in before we get there and secure a spot in the line. But I can't find the website to do this anywhere. Does anyone know where it is or if this is still a service? Braving Bakers Basin tonight at 6 pm and it'd be nice if I can check in a little bit before getting there. Thanks in advance!
Never head of such,,, you can do things like renewals of existing reg's etc online, and I have seen video cameras online showing lines for inspection etc.

Hm. I could swear there was something, but maybe it was some failed initiative. If I see it at the Bakers Basin location tonight, I'll report back. Thanks!
Are you thinking New York? They let you make a reservation
Nah never lived in NY. I didn’t see the sign during my recent visit so I either saw an irritation-induced phantom sign during one 4-hour MVC wait or another, or they tried years ago and it failed.
I have never seen online check in at the DMV but it seems like it would be a disaster in the making. Inevitably people would show up late to their "spot" and then try to cut the line in front of people that were there on time.
I never heard of this either. Last time I went though (to get my license renewed) the lines moved pretty quick. It's not like back in the day anymore when you might be there for hours.

+1
I could reveal the MVC location that I use--because waiting lines are short to non-existent--but if I did disclose that info, I might have to endure a longer line when I next return to that facility.

I'm pretty sure i know where you are talking about, and i appreciate you not giving that site away. It's lovely to walk in and walk out 5 minutes later
