Can anyone give me a realistic commute time driving from princeton/hopewell area to warren in the morning and back in the afternoon? Map quest says 45 minutes-but I imagine that is with no traffic. I am looking at a job in Warren but would really like to live in a college town.
Thanks

lets see...Warren to Princeton would probably be Rt 78 (or Rt 22) west to Rt 287 south to Rt 206 south into Princeton. Rt 206 can really be a parking lot at the "popular" travel times. I would figure on probably closer to an 75 or 90 minutes...all depending on traffic on 206 and what part of Warren to what part of Princeton. I'd allow an hour and a quarter.

unfortunately, it ain't gonna be pretty. i'm sure you can take some back roads, but the main 206/287/78 route is going to take - i'm guessing - 75-90 minutes during regular rush hour. i go the opposite way and traffic south on 287 at 6:30pm is an ugly sight.

Unfortunately that commute will be pretty bad--you will be going with traffic and Route 206 is absolutely AWFUL (mainly in the direction you're going -- the reverse commute direction isn't as bad) and you will find some traffic on 287 and 78 as well.

I would guess more like 60-70 minutes with traffic.
