Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and have been searching a home for a while now. We are now almost on the verge of finalizing a house in Rochelle park, and then I thought to post here and ask about people's views on the area, locality, and the schools. Our focus was initially on the fair lawn, Paramus, and river edge however due to low inventory and prices recently being surged so much, it is out of our reach now. We came down to Rochelle park which seems reasonable but lacks high school.

I would appreciate your valuable feedback.

Rochelle park is nice but Hackensack high school is truly awful. That alone is a big negative.

Maywood worked to send their students to e Rutherford. Still not a great school but head and shoulders above Hackensack. I also like Maywood better in terms of the town and they seem comparable.
