I’d look hard at West Windsor and Cranbury. Keep in mind West Windsor has a pressure cooker school system. The town is fantastic. Cranbury sends kids to Princeton HS.

Princeton is the most beautiful town (one of the most beautiful anywhere imo), and far and away the most expensive. $900k won’t go far but you might as well look. You should know that many homes with a “Princeton” address are not in Princeton. Check the “schools” part of the listing to see which town the house is actually in.

I’d stay away from the towns that rely on 206. That road has always been very frustrating to get around on.

All of the towns (you originally listed) are expensive but Princeton is especially expensive. Lawrenceville and Hamilton are not on the same level and with your budget there’s no reason to look in those 2 towns.

Thx! Yes I am aware that many surrounding towns also have Princeton address.

Looking hard at Princeton and west Windsor. Thx for sharing your thoughts!

I would second Lawrenceville (over Hamilton), which has a cute, walkable downtown, even though it's only a few blocks long. It is on 206 but a short drive to Princeton, even with traffic and good schools.
