Hi,
I am about to start the process of buying a house at central NJ. Around Edison/East Brunswick/South Brunswick area(yet to decide the final one, but Edison might win because of easy commute to NYC).
Can you guys a recommend a good attorney and a home inspector (say for Edison area)?
I use Martin Kraft of Kraft & Kraft in East Brunswick for deals and he even worked on my purchase. He is pretty good. Just keep in mind, he is older so it may take a little longer because he looks out for the best interest of his client. He goes over EVERYTHING which is good for you especially if you are a first time home buyer. I think he charges about $900 for the whole process.
Just me 2 cents: make sure the inspector will go on roof and has a lengthy check list. Best of luck!
