Can anyone tell me what rate they are paying for oil heat and with what company. We're with Super Oil and the price is like $3.70/gallon. We are expected to use like 200 gallons every 3 weeks in the winter.
Is that correct or average?
Our old place was gas heat, so I'm not familiar with this. Our new house is about 1800sq.ft. Any advice is appreciated.
That sounds like alot of oil usage for an 1800 SF house unless you either keep it at 75, have an extremely inefficient boiler, or have no insulation in the walls.

I agree..our 275 gallon tank was just filled late Sept and normally that will take us to at least the 1st of the new year, longer if not really cold.. Our water is heated through the boiler as well

I agree also. My house is between 1700-1800 sf and last winter I used an average of 90 gallons of oil per month. I should add that my hot water heater is electric and I have forced hot air not a boiler.
I am in Central Jersey and was just told about a company in Sandy Hook. Has anyone heard of it? COD Service and they go by 3 names. I searched it online and can't find a phone number or any info. Sandy Hook Discount something.
Also, have you used them?
Thanks!
