The movie was capitalizing on the success (WHY?) of the horrible song. Since I loathe the song with every ounce of my being, I can never bring myself to watch the movie. And if it is based on the song, it's probably for the best. LOL

My favorites are "The Christmas Story" (Oh, Fragile, it's ITALIAN! LOL) and "It's a Wonderful Life" which is one of my favorite movies.

I also like Miracle on 34th Street a lot.

As a kid... it was ALL about Rudolph, Santa Claus is Coming to Town and "The Year Without A Santa.' OMG... the heatmizer ROCKS!

There was also this movie called Nestor, I think, about the Christmas Donkey that carried Mary. Saw it as a kid and CRIED MY EYES out. It was so sad.

I might consider a change of heart if the kid was going for a pair of **** me pumps for his mother. A little bizarre, maybe. But certainly well worth listening because let's face it: he puts those on dear old mom and it ain't Jesus she might be visiting that night.

They used to have 24 hour straight of A Christmas Story.....on Thanksgiving on the family channel, this year they didnt do it. I have the movie it is a classic, I want to see Christmas Shoes I hope they show it again.

Me too. I believe they had one either Memorial Day or July 4th weekend this year and we Tivoed a couple favorites. Hopefully they will have a marathon for New Year's.

That was my tradition - after the Rose Bowl parade. LOL
That w/ grandma's leftover lasagna from the night before.
