A friend was telling me how he saw a lot of positions listed on the NJ state job site, such as meter reader, community aides etc that pays really well. I thought there was a hiring freeze per Corzine. Am I wrong? Or are they posting these positions to rack up money for the state since you have to pay $15 filling fee.

Or it could be that they plan to dump all of the seasoned vets. in order to bring in less expensive rookies? I know overtime is on freeze...

I see. Well it doesnt matter for us anyways cause you have to live in those NJ cities in order to apply anyways.
