Alright so I'll give so short background info. I am a single white 26 male, looking to move up to middle/north jersey. I have lived 10 min outside of philly for pretty much my whole life, except college.

Anyway I have to move up to north/middle jersey for work. I would like to live around a young professional atmosphere, plenty of night life, plenty of restaurants, and other young singles to meet. I must have a car as my job requires pretty much traveling all over north jersey. Basically I want an area with access to parking and a young fun atmosphere.
I have read up on hobokin (i do need a car), Princeton, montclair, morristown......
any help would be fantastic

What kind of job and how much does it pay?

What requires traveling around like that except a salesman? Are you a salesman?

The town depends on how much you make

where do you work?

most people here are gonna say hoboken, which is nice, but also very expensive. living there, and then commuting a long ways probably isnt the best idea. There are other good places around like New Brunswick, Morristown, etc.

What is a young professional atmosphere anyway? People say Hoboken but surely it means more than that I sure wouldn't want to live in Hoboken.. it should be an area that's growing in population because younger people moving there is making it grow. central jersey is growing and more relaxed area anyway, which u will need if ur job is driving or sales stuff.

If bridgewater had a connection to the west trenton train station, i would move there. because then you can easily go to philly and nyc by train and still have the comfort of the suburbs. there's edison too but it's crowded.

in the simplest terms, yes I am a salesman. Basically I am expanding my company into jersey and I am heading to central/north jersey to develope the territory. I will be checking out a couple different places in the end of the month. found places to live in hoboken, jersey city, morristown, princeton.

i will be renting an apt for a year, keeping it around 1500 a month, willing to spend more depends on how much I fall for the area/apt. As far as the question what is a young professional anyway? Basically it is someone who is not in college any longer, not settled down, still enjoys the night life/bar scene, and looking to meet people around the same age. (26)

Since I will be by myself in a new area, I would like to move to a young fun atmosphere with people my age. I am not interested in a place for families to settle or older folks to retire.
