hi, i'm considering northvale as a possible town to move into because of its good school system and affordability - but looking through a few threads, i've seen an article posted about a high incidence of autism in northvale? can someone please explain and discuss as i can't quite get how credible and considerable this correlation is. thanks in advance.

I live in Northvale and I don't believe it, tests were conducted and nothing was found.

To clarify this issue:
As of March 2008:
No funding - Northern Valley Suburbanite (http://www.nvsuburbanite.com/NC/0/321.html - broken link)
More studies are being requested.

A good point about this issue:*

*
Assemblyman Rooney gave the statistics for autism in the state of New Jersey and that*
the main cause is vaccinations. He stated that none of the chemicals in Northvale could*
have been involved in this case. He stated that the main problem with the chemicals has*
been cancer and not autism. He suggested that the school be closed. *

Hope this helps!
