Do they have to evict in one month if the new owner wants it inspite of time remaining on their lease?

Or can they still rent but pay the new owner?

Please advice per NJ laws specifically.

I'm not positive, but I would think as long as you signed the lease it should be good for the term of the lease. My old landlord sold the house I'm in and that's what happened, but I don't know if it's any different for foreclosures.

I believe they just passed something giving tenants 90 days extra to find a new apartment after the property has been foreclosed on.
