Sadly I think they will extend the Credit and prolong this artifical pricing.
I heard on the news yesterday that they are going to phase out the credit, in increments, by the end of 2010. (i.e. if you buy by June 2010 you get a $4k credit, by Dec 2010 you get a $2k credit)

They just said on CNBC that the credit is going to be expanded and continued tomorrow. It is supposed to be attached to the unemployment bill.

not just for first time home buyers anymore, existing owners will get a chance to get free government funding too.

Welcome to socialism. Good way to distribute wealth and encourage people to take financial risk that they can't afford.

As this country produce less and less and people lose their purchasing power, govt incentive is the only to make them spend.

Beginning of an end.

How true. What ever happened to supply and demand. If you hold out to 2011 they will give you a house. No more cash for clunkers either. they will give you a car. I guess I was born in the wrong generation. If you wanted a house you saved for years and bought it. Same thing with cars. You bought an old car for a couple of hundred bucks and saved for years and then you bought a new car. The govt. didn't give you money. I guess this is the new way of change. The govt. takes money from people then it gives it to other people to buy houses and cars. I guess it's the new welfare system.
