NJ debt equals $3,478 per resident, report says | New Jersey Real-Time News - - NJ.com

Throw in the unfunded, 40 billion dollar pension plan we have and things are not looking good...

Tax burden is poised to grow massively unless something is done. What is Christies plan? I know he didnt cause it, but its something that needs to be addressed ASAP

He will do the rest of them do. Point the finger at the guy before him and add some new or extra tax. Say that it will only be temporary. My guess is a raise on gas tax.

With plans to end Abbott districts in the near future, Christie should let these folks pay the actual bill for what their town owes.

Raise the taxes on residents in Newark, Trenton, Paterson, Irvington, bad areas of Jersey city, etc. And gut the section 8 program completely. Burden the residents of Newark/newark landlords with the taxes they owe and hope the ghetto trash move out of state and rent/purchase prices drastically lower

throwing them out on the street wont get them out of state it will cause more problems. He is going to have to tax more and figure out how to cut expenses. We spend a lot of money taking care of our prisoners...there in jail for a reason we should cut costs and lower the quality of the prisons. Basically he needs to look at everything and make decisions, he wanted to be governor now the ball is in his court to fix things, if not hes out in 4 years.

I had no idea that they intend to end the Abbott districs program. Mind giving a link where they talk about it?
