My husband and I have relocated to NJ for his job. We are currently renting while trying to find the right area to purchase a home. His job is in Forked River so we would like to stay close by for commute purposes. I'm looking for any information on the surrounding areas. Is Forked River/Lacey or Bayville a more desirable area? We'd be looking for a newer home. Thanks!

I would stay in Forked River or Lacey area. Bayville Ok in certain areas. Schools in Lacey, Forked River better. Forked River has also grown as far as shopping. Before it was usually necessary to go to Toms River for a lot of shopping... FR area also called Manahawkin.
