Just want to know if Deptford is a place I might like.....seems affordable......is it safe? I grew up in East Brunswick and lived in Monmouth Jct. for many years, but I don't think I could afford to live there now. Can anyone comment?
I live about 20 minutes outside of deptford and I wondered why you picked that town.
Deptford is nice - there's a mall in town and the high school is halfway decent. Its location is fairly convenient to everything you'd need, but I'm also wondering why you picked Deptford.
I am wondering the same thing, why Depford. I grew up 20 south of Depford in Turnersville and the only reason we would go there was for the mall and movie theater. I now live about 15 north of Depford and still only go for the shopping (they have since built a ton more!) IMO there are just too many nicer areas than Depford to choose from. I hope this helps.

If you can suggest a better place in so. jersey, I would appreciate. No kids in schools - so that's not an issue. I need to find work in the administrative field though, so close proximity to a city would be good. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
