Best place to live if working in Kearney??
My husband will be working in Kearney NJ. We have no idea about where we should look to live. We will be renting the first year (we have 2 kids, but we homeschool-schools are not an issue).
Thank you so much.

How much are you looking to pay per month. North Arlington, Lyndhurst, Nutley are all nice towns and close to Kearny.

Thank you for suggesting some towns.
I'm also curious....do most people who work in Kearney commute a far distance? About how long of a drive?

That's hard to say. Since Kearny doesn't have many big Corporations or Office Parks I would say most people are within a 30 minutes drive. Maybe some have a 1 hour commute. But I am making an educated guess.
What line of work is your husband in?

I guess I should learn to spell Kearny, huh? Sorry about the extra "e".

Depends what you are looking for. If you like apartment living, Jersey city or Hoboken would be an option.

We would prefer to rent a house or townhouse. Something where parking would be right to the door.
