Wife worked in NJ for long time and got laid off in Feb, 2009 (last year) and then got a consulting job in NYC in Sept, 2009, which ended last week (6th May, 2010).

She got NJ unemployment benefit during the past unemployment (Feb, 2009 to Sept 2009).

Now which state (NJ or NY) should she apply for UI benefits?

Thanks in advance.
