Hunting done all over the county. All during the hunting season we have many lear (sp) jets parked at the airport with hunters from NY and what not. Yah, I hope its the first of many too.

GregW,

Many find it amusing to take pot shots at hunters and the hunting tradition. As for safety concerns, a review of hunting accident statistics will disabuse most people of the view that hunting is inherently unsafe. In fact the drive to and from the hunting area is far more risky.

PS I just registered the domain and dunno if I set her up properly, dosent seem to work my end, I think it may be DNS Cache local, if it dosent work use http://claytonnewmexico.net/gunshow (broken link) !

It worked for me. I like gun shows, except that I have to exercise a great deal of financial responsibility. If I'm on the road in May, I'll try to make it.

I was a hunter and rat exterminator when I was a teen. Then I went to war and have not been interested in hunting ever since. I fully appreciate the fact that many folks really enjoy the sport. However, I still stay out of the woods during hunting season.

After I move to NM, I will probably attend some gun shows. I have no aversion to guns.
