I spent the last 4 days in Albuquerque for my Birthday 5/21-5/24-the weather was varied-and I totally loved it. I'm interested in returning-soon to live there. I work for the San Diego VA Health Care System in the Call Center (I'm a light duty LPN-dying to get back into nursing-a small clinic would be great). Of course, I have to sell my house here first and get a job. I already have a temporaty place to stay until I get my self together and figure out where I want to buy or lease a house-that I can call home. Any one out there know of anything that can help me with my family of a SO-who is a city coach driver, an Akiho, 2 cats, a bird, and a couple fishies? I can't specify income yet because I'm sure it will be different from San Diego. All will be appreciated.

Yes, your income will most likely be considerably less in Albuquerque than San Diego. If you can live with that, you should be able to find a job with your skills and enjoy it out here. Good luck.

Perhaps you might want to relocate this thread to the Albuquerque forum, not the New Mexico forum. You will get a much better set of responses. Here is a quick link to the ABQ Forum

I know for a fact there is a shortage of health care professionals in this state, so I'm sure you'd get a job very quickly if you have good credentials
