7 years since I found out - I was in my late thirties, I'm sure it was a little longer than that.
Not to get too personal, but how are you physical? The last time my wife and I was in Albuquerque together was in December of 2010. I had taken a wheelchair with us and not once did she need it.
Physically I'm pretty good. I have the most trouble with my eyes-optic neuritis, fatigue and speech. As I'm sure you're aware, most MS comes and goes to some extent, you don't think she was just going through a good spell? There's nothing magical (not to be a smart aleck) about Rio Rancho with regards to MS.
A lot of sunlight makes more of a difference for MS than many people realize, I'm guessing if there was something there that impacted her that was probably it. Perhaps she was up from getting together with family too. I can lead you to the support groups NMSS in Alb (same group down here in Las Cruces) if you ever need that. Feel free to send me a message.
