My father lives and works in Carlsbad. I live in Kentucky but I've been looking at houses the area and I see a few houses are available in Queens. I won't be able to purchase a place there if there isn't broadband available and I'd like to plan what areas to look at prior to traveling to NM...

I appreciate any responses. Does anyone know if there is generally broadband cable or dsl available in this area -Queens? Maybe there are some other little communities in Carlsbad area I should look at instead?

It's called Queen, New Mexico. It is about 50 road miles from Carlsbad. Queen is an unincorporated community which currently has a population of around 50. I don't see any business's there...

Oops "Queen". Right you are. I actually work from home in software so local employment isn't really a problem but of course it makes internet access pretty important
