Default information on Bernalillio

I have a client that is thinking of relocating to the town of Bernalillio.
She has lots of questions, population? Rain fall amounts? cultural information? Rental property 2beds/2 baths radient heat with views priced below 1000.00 monthly,
maybe near a lake? with views? close to walking trails?
If you have information please respond.
Thanks

Some basic info is here:
Town of Bernalillo Official Web Site

Bernalillo is one of New Mexico's oldest towns, primarily Hispanic and, perhaps, Native American population. Some new housing development has recently increased the popualtion, but I'd still call it a small town. The town is adjacent to the Sandia Pueblo on the south, the Santa Ana Pueblo on the north (with casino, golf course and very nice resort and restaurants) and Placitas on the east. There are two main streets, with a couple of restaurants that we frequent - The Range and Abuelitas.

Traffic is a bit heavy on the main roads during rush hour, because US550 is a connector between Rio Rancho and I-25. As a result, there are plenty of fast food places in town. There's a Railrunner station on the edge of town. There are a couple of major groceries within 5 miles, as well as a small market in town. They have a farmer's market in town on summer Fridays.

You would likely have views of the Sandia mountains from town, and Coronado State Monument is very close. The Rio Grande flows through town, and I think there is some access for walking along it (no lakes close by). The weather is about the same as in Albuquerque, 8-9" of snow and 8-9" of rain per year.

My location is a bit east of exit 242 off I-25 and Bernalillo is just west, so we are in town or driving through several times a week.

She has lots of questions,
Why do people just up and decide to move to places that they know nothing about?
I can understand passing through a place and considering it.
I can understand having vacationed there or nearby and ...

Now that we have google/yahoo search, why do people need to ask
about stuff like population? rainfall?

I wonder if I could have answered my question above using google/yahoo?

I wonder if I answered my question about my question on google/yahoo?

I wonder ... oh never mind.

There is a Wal-mart and a large (400 homes?) housing devlopment in Bernalillio. Most people think it is in Rio Rancho.

I have mixed feelings with Bernalillio. Ten years ago I predicted it would grow quickly, it did, I wanted to buy some land in the town, and build a home, but other priorities took precidence.

There are two RailRunner stations.

Yes, traffic can be backed up, depending on time, direction etc. I don't see any near future fixes. I live in Rio Rancho.

Oh right... I knew the Wal-Mart was in Bernalillo and the homes that are supposed to be built behind it, but was never sure of the Bernalillo boundaries. The bosque area has three small developments, but the homes are fairly pricy and a lot of them are empty and at least one foreclosed while still being built.
