I've been paying taxes and fees to the VIA these past 34 years for nothing, obviously. Recently, I've been receiving calls inviting me to sell for over $20,000---for the nominal fee of $500. Even China was interested in my land last year!

I've learned from postings on the Web that there are many lawsuits pending from disgruntled buyers but have no idea how far that's gone. I'm guessing, not very far, since he VIA is still in business. In fact, in our recent newsletter from them, a huge hospital complex is in the works???? And our membership fee has risen to accomodate this project.

I'd been really interested in what further information you've managed to gather concerning the future of our holdings and the future of the VIA itself, for that matter. I live in Virginia, formerly from NY. My e-mail address is: jnet54k@myway.com. I'd welcome a call anytime or be glad to give you a call.

I am shocked that people have so much money they will buy real estate sight unseen. Find someone in the local area of your property and sell it. Do not sell it to any real estate company as we have too much of that and it is ruining the environment and bringing unhappy people to the area. If you don't like desert you shouldn't buy desert property. No matter how good the deal sounds.
