That means fewer employees to handle more work, larger paychecks for the CEO, more productivity to profit from, and more people who cannot find good enough work to support themselves let alone their families.

Nobody wakes up one day and says they want to work at Jack in the Box or be a motel maid.

I pray for you. I pray that you don't get laid off from your job and lose your healthy paycheck and your great benefits. Then we will see what you say when you are flipping burgers again and your manager refuses to let you off for your kid's piano recitle or ball game. We will see what kind of pride/enthusiasm you have for your work then.

You didn't understand some things I wrote, but that's okay. You're not getting it, and I see why. But I don't need your prayers ~ reserve them for yourself.

I don't think you get it, honestly. Just wait until you are in the position. Sadly I think that's the only thing that will make you realize how wrong you are about minimum wage labor and those who work it. So for the benefit of your family, let's hope you remain blissfully unaware of the facts.

NOLA can always keep bars, strip clubs, drunks, drug addicts, corrupt police, and corrupt politicians.

Well , since the article devoted three paragraphs to that very point , that would be a safe assumption .

I'm glad to see that the prior p-----g match ended although it was pretty interesting.

Currently what are New Orleans major employers besides service and hospitality and the port? Just curious.
