My husband is being relocated to Kenner next month.
We are looking for advice regarding the best neighborhoods around that area to rent. We have children, so safety is a big concern for us.
We would like to stay relatively close to Kenner, no farther than 10 miles away.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Any answers would be greatly appreciated!

Chateau Estates in Kenner is nice along with Ormond Estates in St. Charles Parish. If you have kids St. Charles Parish public schools are some of the best in the state.

Do your homework because a lot of neighborhoods in Kenner are crime ridden.

Take a look at the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office website and you'll see the crime tracker map. This will give you a recent account of where the few crimes that do happen in Kenner actually take place. I currently rent a duplex in the area known jokingly as "Kennerie" because it's on the edge between Metairie & Kenner. Kenner is hardly what I'd call "crime-ridden".

Thank you both so much. I will check the sheriff's office website. We homeschool our kids, so that's one less thing to worry about.
Thanks again.
