I have never been to NO but he has. However, he has only been to NO as a vacation with the men, lol. What are some nice things couple can do while in NO? If it means anything I am 27 years old and he is 31. What are some attractions that first time visitors should add to an itinerary?

What famous restaurants would you recommend?

Top ethnic restaurants?

Best bars to visit?

Also, what area would you recommend we stay? What is a nice hotel for a romantic getaway? Money is not necessarily an issue.
We will drive down on Friday morning and should arrive by afternoon. We will head back home Sunday around noon. Short little trip but we are trying to pack as much in as we can!! Thank you!!

Not sure if you're driving in or flying, but once here, you really don't need your car. Almost everything you want to see is in walking distance.

If you're a more bohemian, hipster type, then you might prefer to stay in the lower end of the French Quarter near Esplanade or over in The Marigny. If you're on the more conservative side, then the upper Quarter or CBD will be just fine.

Definitely:
-Take a ride on the St. Charles Streetcar uptown and back
-Have beignets at Cafe Du Monde
-Have at least 1 'nice' dinner (Bayona, Irene's, Galitoires, Antoines, Mr. B's, etc.)

Reccommended:
-Eat a Po-Boy (Johnny's is decent and is in the Quarter)
-Walk Royal Street
-Check out Frenchmen St. for live music

If you must:
-walk down Bourbon St (once)

Awesome!! We will be driving down. It will take us about 5 hours to get there. LOL!! at your "walk down Bourbon St (once). I would not describe us as conservative, but we are certainly far from being hipsters, so I am going to go with your suggestion for conservatives, lol. Thank you so much again!! You rock!!!
