Found out today that I will be starting a job in Reserve in June. I am looking for a house somewhat close to rent (within about 35 minutes; an apartment is fine too, if necessary...gated communities?). Kenner/Metairie look like about as far west as I'd like to go. I'm sure I can find a place there. Is there anything between Kenner and Reserve worth looking into? How about the east side of Reserve? Looking for the (obvious) usual places....safe, affordable, blah blah blah. Willing to spend up to $1500/month.
