Reached out to listed housing lottery people on housing connect but the response I got back was from a gmail. Curious to know whether you all have had lotteries reach out from a gmail account? It feels pretty unprofessional and makes me wonder if it is a phishing scheme cause they never signed their name and sometimes they dont even use periods.

I have seen another post on here about an email from a property that was so poorly written it was shocking; however, the gmail address is a red flag too. I'd be careful - maybe try to find the person on LinkedIn or a company website.

I wouldn't submit documents anywhere other than on housing connect if that is where you applied someone can easily steal your identity with the amount of information they request
