I just got an email of ineligibility for 416 Kent because I don’t make the required income for the 130% AMI. But I qualify at the lower AMI. So I called. They didn’t know (???) and said to appeal. I’m happy to do that, but would like to know if the reason I was disqualified was because the only units left are for the 130% AMI.

Getting an apartment here would be a dream, as I’m sure you all know!
Does anyone happen to have this information? Thank you!

You most likely did get that because when they got to you there were only 130% AMI apartments left, I get those all the time from lotteries I entered but got a high number (I am 130% so it's usually my income is too low for the bedrooms available - I qualify for studios and most one-beds but not 2 bedrooms, rather than bracket for me). The lower bracket apartments always go quickly. But, you should still look into it.

Thank you. Makes sense. Hopefully it’s not the case!

Well, it was the case.
Looking into possibly contesting the AMI.
