Hi all, been reading up on this forum and there is a bunch of great info from the community here.

Wanted to hear people's thoughts on "Submitting Docs in Person"
To be clear, this is for the generic first outreach where they ask you to upload docs to the housing portal.
Thoughts on the pros/cons of if it makes a difference at all is what I wanted to inquire...curious what people think.

Now to put it into context, I ask this because I submitted final round documents for another lottery apartment. If they approve, I will likely be taking the apartment.
For this current lottery which is asking for docs, I don't think my chances are good (9 listed units and my log number is in the low 2000). And this is "me" problem, but submitting docs entails a lot of personal info. I know it's all out there, and I submitted docs to the first lottery already but... still to the extent that I can, I really rather not if I don't need to. Again, definitely a personal quirk. So...my strategy/thought is using the "Submitting Docs in Person" so I can buy some time for the first lottery to potentially get back to me, while at the same time, staying in the second lottery and pushing the submit document down the road. Thoughts on this?

I don’t believe submitting in person vs uploading on the portal will buy you more time. Even if you submit on the portal, they won’t be reviewing immediately. & I’m sure once you submit in person they scan everything to their system anyway.
