Hi, I am considering an apartment in woodside which is one block away from 61 str woodside station. Since the line is above the ground I wondering if it will have too much noise from the subway. it is also in front of Korean Catholic Church and I am also wondering if this will mean lots of people/ cars on Sunday mornings. Any advice will be welcomed.
thanks in advance

From a block away, the noise won't be awful. And believe me, you'd get used to it much faster than you think. As a matter of fact, it wouldn't take long before you'd be annoyed if you didn't hear the trains rumbling along for any length of time!

How much quiet do you want? A block away would drive me insane, especially listening to the occasional screeching brakes. But other folks wouldn't mind at all.

As far as the church goes, you can only tell if you check it out on a Sunday. Catholics aren't know for being very vocal, but I once lived near a Pentecostal church and their services woke me up. I won't make that mistake again.
