I woke up about 2 a.m. from a pretty heavy burning smell here in Carroll Gardens. Went outside and the air was THICK with smoke. Looked like fog. There were sirens everywhere so I thought a big fire must have been pretty close. But apparently there was a junkyard fire in Jersey City that sent smoke all the way over here and up and down Brooklyn and Queens. Anyone else see this?
yeah last night I was out in L.E.S. and saw light haze, but the closer I got home to Brooklyn it got thicker and it was evident that something was on fire. It was in all the subway stops as well.
