I guess native new yorkers shy away from the whole thing because transplant sometimes make the whole new yorker thing seem corny and cheesy. Like why cant she just be a texan living in new york
Exactly KONY this is what gets under my skin. If I went to texas and 6 months later I started telling the texans I am a "texan". They and all the other people in this country would laugh at me for saying it. But when some midwestern douchbag comes here and smirks saying he is a new yorker now cause he lived here 6 months. I am supposed to throw him a parade? And I am supposed to adhere to this bs fantasy he lives in?
Would you like for me to PM you some links to news/blog reports of incidents in the DC area that have taken place between transplants and natives?
DC dont mess around.
We have middle school and high school kids down here who turn DC subway stations into their own personal UFC octagons.
