Specifically Queens listings..

Whenever I search up nyc apartments on google, I get these small private firms with little inventory (and I have that google re-direct virus thingy, which isn't helping), so what is a good site, besides Craigslist, that is good for finding apartment listings in NYC (specifically Queens).

Last Question- Would I be considered a "transplant" if I come from Long Island and move to the city?

You can try streeteasy. It seems like a good aggregate site for rentals and sales.

Well, Craigslist is the standard.

I've heard that Kijiji is starting to be used, and Urban Edge seems okay.

And what do you care if you're considered a transplant?
