I am considering moving to the city and am trying to get an idea of the different neighborhoods. CityMaps has been suggested as a good resource, any others that will help me see what is out there??

I am guessing you're a female, correct??
How old are you?
What are you going to be doing in the city? (job-wise, leisure, etc)
What is your type of neighborhood?
What is your price range?
What is your nationality?
What is your comfort level when it comes to catcalling, etc? (if you're a chick)

I am moving from Los Angeles, I am a 31 year old actress. Whenever I have been into the city I have stayed in Soho and liked it a lot. I also enjoyed the upper East side. I do not enjoy cattle calls. Can't pay more than 2500/month. I am really looking for a universal City Guide. That's why I have been using City Maps... I want to get a feel for the neighborhoods before I actually commit to one. What are your thoughs.
