More evidence that the progressive liberal social communists are destroying the country. Get the "democrat" (read progressive communist) out of the white house, get a Bush-like figure back in office and we will all enjoy our full civil rights again. No phone taps, no random arrests, no terrorism charges waged to detain innocents without having to charge them, no bailouts for rich people - just honest to god, as intended by the founding fathers no nonsense good hearted all American liberty.

No you're wrong pizzarony... Giuliani hasn't been mayor for ten years now but nevertheless acts like this are still his fault... Giuliani is the root of all evil... He took this wonderful city that was a paradise in 1991 into chaos when he left... all those statistics that you see about the crime rate decreasing dramatically in he 90s much quicker than any other part of the country... all lies... Bloomberg is the real savior of this city... I shudder to think what this city would be like without all the spending on bike lanes, pedestrian walkways, condos on every block and electronic time schedules to let us know when the trains are coming (these are critical) while making cuts to the completely unnecessary things like childrens education, policemen, and firefighters... my three reactions when i read your response to grigou... how anyone cannot see the blatant sarcasm which is now the only language grigou speaks in is beyond me...
Me and my Son were walking down my block to go home and 2 undercover cops said excuse me...so we stopped, thinking they wanted directions, they made us stand against a car, asked if we had 'anything", blah blah blah, Checked all our pockets (ugh, I am a germ a phoeb, so his hand disgusted me) of course we didn't and he claimed we live in a heavily drug area, so I was like: So what do you want me to do move now? they lets us go after 10 minutes because when he saw my "shield" in my wallet from my brother in law, who is corrections for Nassau County, then they sang another tune, all sweet and wonderful......have a good night now.....I didn't say anything more, because the Brooklyn in me would have of came out and I thought better. My son was so upset, please.
So, no I hate cops and have ZERO respect for them.

Since we pay their inflated salaries and pensions with our tax dollars, I think we have every right to. It's not like they're doing us a favor for free - although that's how they like to portray themselves.

This is where the zero respect comes from. Everytime you need the cops, they dont come through, or they come after you don't need them anymore. But they're always on time to harass you!
What I'm not ok with is only one side of the story being presented to make it seem that one side is 100% wrong and one side is 100% innocent, which is not the case here.
