A mentally ill man with a record gets on a train, starts yelling and getting in everyone's face. A former marine jumps in with a chokehold to save the day. The menacer dies. Hope that's the end of it. It's amazing the chokehold supposedly lasted 15 minutes with not one cop in sight if I'm reading the story right
Of course the video gives no sense to viewers about what happened prior to the choke hold. The NY Post report does not describe what really happened either. The facts are practically omitted and then they release some choke hold video that is midway through the fight that shows nothing leading up to the altercation.
My guess is it was another racist rant and the white guy said enough is enough. That is just my guess as to what went down. This stuff is practically easy to guess anymore.
The NY Post is basically an enemy of the people of New York the ways they manipulate every story to fit a different narrative is really sickening.
The white guy looks like a tourist on the ground wrestling with the black guy. Looks like everyone involved was mentally challenged or that white one is a tourist because I doubt any New Yorker would be wrestling with a mentally disturbed individual like that who appears unarmed and they are all on a filthy subway floor.

Quote:
“He starts to make a speech,” freelance journalist Juan Alberto Vazquez said in Spanish during an interview Tuesday, referring to the disturbed man.
“He started screaming in an aggressive manner,” Vazquez told The Post. “He said he had no food, he had no drink, that he was tired and doesn’t care if he goes to jail. He started screaming all these things, took off his jacket, a black jacket that he had, and threw it on the ground.”
That’s when he said the straphanger came up behind Neely and took him to the ground in a chokehold — keeping him there for some 15 minutes, Vazquez said.
Nothing in the story justifies deadly force or even use of any force. The mentally ill guy did not assault anyone or even directly threaten anyone. The former Marine is in the wrong and should be charged. As a former Marine he should have known that a 15 minute chokehold could be deadly.
Nothing good comes out of people dying.
One man is dead. Another possibly go to jail.
If labeled racist incident, riots may ensue.
This can lead to more businesses fleeing N.Y.C.
Defunding the police was not a smart move in a city
of almost over 8 million people with 25% of them
( 1 in 4 Americans ) mentally ill.
You get what you vote for folks, you get what you vote for.
This is a good demonstration of why the police cannot subdue criminals who resist arrest without putting them into choke holds and if they further resist. It will kill them. The media and all these anti-police policy has caused criminals to be brazen and resist arrest. In the past they know well that resisting arrest risk being in a choke hold.
44 prior arrests with a long violent criminal record but still out on the street free to threaten normal citizens...
the perp even yelled before he died that he didn't care if he dies... well, a hero honored his wish....
15-minute chokehold was duly needed to keep the perp under control while keeping other bystanders safe before additional help was available to arrest that perp....well, he was just a fragile piece of dirt and lost his game before he had another chance to hurt anybody anymore....the all mighty bless our hero...!!!
