I am very encouraged to see this happening when cops are afraid to take actions against these low lives roaming nyc streets and subways. I am ready to visit this marine in jail if he is unfortunately charged under this rigged system.

The marine is 100% a tourist. And yes, he should be charged with manslaughter. People do not deserve to die because they have mental health issues. The deceased was never able to get over his mother's violent death and he had no money to buy food. He was having a mental a breakdown. Everyone in the car who felt threatened should've just gotten off the next stop or into the next car. Now, had the deceased put his hands on someone, then restraining him would've been appropriate - not a chokehold.

Perhaps white supremacists wouldn't have a leg to stand on if clear threats were neutralized. I am tired of the freedom and liberty slippery slope theater that has led to the deaths of innocent children. If there were any women or children on that train he should have been put down and incapacitated.

I am a Black man that is tired of being caught in the middle of emotional anarchist socialists and racist MAGA extremists. The undesirables in society who look like me are used to pigeonhole me into a corner politically and consequently, socioeconomically. We are going to have to learn as a society how to stop conflating individual racism with structural racism and structural disenfranchisement. These are 3 things which may overlap but they are not the same. The Republicans need to come to the center and expunge racist elements in their party or Woke Democrats will run this city and country into the ground. We are going to become Baltimore and Chicago soon. Not good.

This individual who was killed should NOT have had the freedom to wander the subway aimlessly given his background. We put ankle monitors on juvenile delinquents but none on this guy? Ban these individuals from the subway or keep them institutionalized. That way the lines don't get blurred.

There is a concern that racist vigilantes use this as an excuse or justification to try and revive the old Ku Klux Klan and take out regular hard working Black people. We can address this by locking up proven psychotics with lengthy rap sheets. Then you can go ahead and ban vigilante behavior. Fire Alvin Bragg and bring in a sensible pragmatic DA that locks up career criminals and not random Black kids coming home from school.
It's not a racial issue because the blonde white marine was assisted by at least one other Black man in holding down the bum. He even gave an interview to the press and made incriminating statements. His photos are all over the news articles - clean cut guy with beard.

While the marine held the bum from the back this other Black man held him from the front and landed several blows to his torso.

If you're going to charge the marine with murder then you have to include this other individual too because then he would be just as complicit.

How do you know the Marine was a tourist mod cut And mental issues is a cover for drug addiction. The guy had a long rap sheet since the day he was born. He deserved to die, since he literally was threatening people and threw garbage at people. If you throw stuff at people, expect to get beaten down.

People have a right to experience the subway system the same way Japanese experience their system, and it is called PEACE and QUITE.

The F train doesn't allow you to walk through cars on many models. There was a long gap in between station. You clearly not a real New Yorker, cause if you were, you would know the subway system doesn't have the same rolling stock. Just stay in trash Connecticut, and stay out of NYC affairs.

Adams so far defending him, as he should

But now AOC is inciting an insurrection for people to riot so let's see what Adams is made of

He must decide to support the 90% of NYers who think the guy did the right thing, or the 10% pink haired mafia that bullies everyone else into doing what they want

If AOC incites anything, she should be arrested and beaten up by the cops. Would be awesome seeing her body slammed and in a coma.

If he was attacked, then self-defense could be used. We don't know the facts, I don't think anybody would purposely wants to kill a homeless guy unless they were threatened. I believe in cause and effect, the homeless guy most likely provoked it. He probably shouldn't have choked him so hard but we don't know the exact situation.

She's one of the worst politician, no knowledge no credibility. She's voted in because of identity and she has done more damage to her own constituents and they don't know know the political fallout she has caused with her actions.

This type of faulty reasoning explains how drugged, dysfunctional, and violent low lives are flooding nyc. Violent low lives like this one love crowds and their life goal is to find victims. Even if all passengers vacated the car, he would follow where the crowd moves until his desire for harm is satisfied, at one place or another. Tolerating or hiding from the ill aggressive perp is not a solution and will only embolden them to act out. More people would have fallen victim to this perp until his journey ends, which did. I wish those who cried for this perp or wanted him back will regularly encounter perps like this one until your mind changes......

People that use the subways have a right to peace. It's cause of the perp, it is a struggle to have NYC subway to be more like Japan or more European(UK excluded) atmosphere.

The more of these druggie perps get cleansed, the better it is for everyone. People that cause disruptions to the subways don't deserve to exist. This guy wasn't a child, he was an adult so he should know the consequences. The same perp would have ended pushing an innocent person on the tracks.

People act like this perp was on his way to win a Nobel Peace Prize candidate.
