The media has been mostly silent about the two-week long Wall Street occupation. The rare chance it gets mentioned is to belittle or condemn the protesters as clueless hippies who should get a jobs. It's easy to hide it when its mostly white college age kids who are involved but when people of color's rage comes out about their situation how will the cops handle them? Cops can barely handle the shootings occurring in the outer boroughs and if they start acting aggressively to black or Latinos protesters they can expect the same thing in return. I think this is slowly building up, and when the economy take a bigger dive down I can foresee this happening.
The truth is that most cops are scared of men of color. It's why they always use excessive force from the beginning or barely patrol certain areas because they don't want to get involved. When the 'hood comes to Wall Street they are going to need to bring the SWAT teams.
Cops will do what cops do best, beat the Hell out of those who they are told to beat.
They are happiest when those they attack are not likely to fight back...beating pacivist children is easiest for them.
Bullies ALWAYS behave the same way.
Put them against fearsome criminals and they wiill cower away in silence. But beating in the heads of idealistic kids gets their rocks off.
The Wall Street demonstration is growing, eventually the media might be forced to take notice of a people's movment against criminal power , like they do wheneverr it's a demonstration against the power of ANOTHER country...like China, Libya, Egypt, Venezuela, Chile, Cuba, Syria, etc.
Notice how loudly the media proclaimed and glorified Tienaman Square...but that was over THERE. Criminal government is only recognized OVER THERE...it is not allowed to be recognized right HERE!
And the media behaves like they are told by their corporate owners.

I believe they are people of color protesting at wall street rally. The people that are at those events are the hipsters, college kids, liberal, new age hippies, etc.
The thugs/ghetto folks don't really care about this stuff.
Biased media attention that paints the protestors as guilty. Also, police will arrest each and every person and charge them with trumped up felonies....which may or may not be reduced to misdemeanors...

No one is guilty until a court of law says so. How does the court system have enough time to have a case for these people?
