Would you stay in NY or Manhattan? I would.

I'd want something modern right outside from Central Park (not sure where, east, west, south) or in Tribeca so I can drive. Just curious, where would you guys would choose? Any specific buildings?

I'd keep a place in the area, probably setting my father up in a house I can use when I visit somewhere on Staten Island, but my wife and I would be gone by the end of the week if I won. I have zero interest in running with the "moneyed" people that inhabit NYC.

Loft in SoHo or Tribeca or a brownstone in the West Village. Would still keep the place in Brooklyn Heights, though. I do love it.

I would not move to Manhattan. Maybe Cobble Hill/Carroll Gardens.
I would certainly have a 2nd house in CA to escape to.

I'd leave my current place and move somewhere closer to the city where I can pay off the place but wont have high maintenance cost. I'd also look into getting 2-3 vacation homes in some Caribbean islands

I would probably buy North brother island, raze all the current buildings and build a new 10-br mansion on it. On South Brother island, I'm building a clubhouse to entertain my guests.
I would also need a small dock with a yacht and a seaplane so I can travel for meetings in Manhattan.
